Driver

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safe and timely deliveries, collections, and maintaining the integrity of our seafood products during transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver and collect seafood products
• Plan delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at each destination
• Load and unload seafood products, ensuring proper handling to maintain product quality
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections, reporting any issues to management.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service, representing Shellfish Ireland in a professional manner at all times

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
• Familiarity with delivery routes in Cork & Kerry is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, as well as perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings as needed.
