Pickup Driver – Yard & Warehouse | Fermoy Branch

This is more than just a driving job — it’s a hands-on, fast-paced, customer-facing role that keeps the branch running smoothly. You'll be part of a close-knit team helping customers, coordinating deliveries, and making sure everything in the yard and warehouse is in top shape. If you enjoy variety, working outdoors, and being part of a hardworking team, this could be a great fit

What You’ll Be Doing

Local Deliveries – Deliver materials to our customers using the branch pick-up truck, always ensuring friendly service and safe driving.

Customer Support – Help customers in the yard and warehouse, picking and loading orders and answering product queries where needed.

Teamwork – Work closely with your teammates to keep the yard running efficiently — everyone pitches in and supports each other.

Stock & Loading – Load trucks, receive deliveries, report any damages, and ensure all products are stored and handled safely.

Yard Presentation – Keep the yard clean, organised, and welcoming — a place where customers and colleagues alike feel supported.

Product Knowledge – Learn about building materials and share that knowledge with customers to help them get what they need.

What We’re Looking For

A full, clean Category B driver’s licence (required)

Previous forklift experience

Previous experience in a yard, warehouse or builders providers environment

A team player with a can-do attitude and good communication skills

Comfortable with manual handling and working outdoors in all weather

Basic computer literacy

A customer-focused approach — someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in a job well done
