Driving Instructor - HGV & Coach - PART TIME

Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) needed, buses & trucks categories for lessons in Dundalk, Co Louth.

Part-time position available, with view to full-time.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving instruction to be given in a professional manner.
• Reporting any issues that arise while with a learner driver.
• Ensuring the vehicles are roadworthy, completing walk-around checks.
• Ensuring the vehicles are kept clean & tidy.
• Reporting any faults or issues that arise with the vehicles in a timely manner.
• Small minor repairs of vehicles, bulb changes etc.
• Occasional driving of the vehicles not tuition related
• Ensuring the vehicles have fuel & are washed regularly.
• Good timekeeping essential

Experience required:

Previous work as an ADI in the industry - if newly qualified as an ADI, previous experience driving HGV's or buses.

Hours of work

• Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 9 am - 6 pm, Monday & Wednesday 9am - 7pm
• Saturday 8 am - 1 pm
• There are some early mornings when we have tests at the Road Safety Authority test center.
• Start time these mornings will be 7 am or 8 am.

Pay

• Paid weekly in arrears.
• Hourly rate dependent on experience.

Based just outside Dundalk, Co Louth.

Driving tuition takes place in Dundalk and surrounding areas

Salary Range

 €33280 - €41600 pro rata based on hours worked
