Day Opportunities– Finance and Information Manager (Grade VII)

A panel may be created from which permanent, temporary or specified purpose vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled in HSE Dublin & Midlands. The tenure of these posts will be indicated at “expression of interest” stage.

Details of Service

The Disability team are part of the social care pillar and are responsible for the provision of HSE funded services to individuals with a disability living in Dublin South, Kildare & West Wicklow. The Day Opportunities team, led by the Day Opportunities Coordinator, is responsible for the provision and oversight of Rehabilitation Training and Day Service to adults with disabilities that reside in CHO 7. The team consists of Occupational Guidance/ Day Opportunities Officers and the Interim Standards Project Manager. Occupational Guidance/ Day Opportunities Officers provide people with Disabilities with the appropriate guidance, support and direction concerning Rehabilitative Training and Day Service options that best suits their needs. The aim is to equip clients with personal, social and work-related skills that will enable them to progress to greater levels of independence and integration into the community.

The Finance and Information Managerwill be responsible for the strategic integration of business management processes including service development, Service arrangements and funding associated with HSE funded Adult Day Services.
