Purpose of the Post

To provide strategic and operational leadership for integrated service delivery, supporting reform initiatives, resource optimisation, governance, and alignment to national objectives. The postholder will lead on integration efforts across hospital and community interfaces, quality improvement, and the delivery of service plans and performance targets.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the services which they have been assigned.

The post holder will play a key role in contributing to both the strategic development and operational implementation of the HSE’s National Service Plan in relation to services within the assigned area of responsibility.

They will be responsible for supporting line management in the development and execution of appropriate policies/strategies in line with national objectives.

They will be responsible for ensuring the most effective use of the resources available for the services they are accountable to deliver.
