Duty Manager

DUTY MANAGER | Circa €51,200 per annum plus 12% bonus scheme

We are looking for a Duty Manager to join Longford Forest. This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering great service and exceeding guest expectations.

Reporting to the Guest Experience Manager you will be directly responsible for overseeing shift management across the village, ensuring operational standards are maintained across all divisions and that guest issues are addressed promptly in order to protect our brand reputation. 

As the Senior Manager during the shift, you will require the ability to deliver exceptional guest care skills and maintain high standards for a quality memorable experience for our guests. You will have a desire to improve the business and drive opportunities in a pro-active, strategic manner.

You will be required to liaise with Senior Company personnel across all business areas and be able to perform under pressure to effectively manage any potential emergency situations.

Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicants will be required to undergo Garda Vetting. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.

ABOUT YOU

You will need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal effectively with guests, management, Center Parcs colleagues and all outsourced partners in order to ensure the Company can exceed both revenue and profit targets.

Essential requirements:

  • Strong operational experience in a managerial capacity with a minimum of 5 years in a management position
  • Proven good record of managing and developing people and achieving high standards
  • Proven good record of achieving revenue, profit & Company targets
  • Strong understanding of basic Health and Safety and legal compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to allow you to network effectively with others on Village
  • Be comfortable with large scale responsibilities and the ability to work under pressure
  • Experience of critical Incident management
  • Proven track record of achieving high standards of guest care
  • Cheerful, positive and empathetic manner

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous Duty Management Experience
  • Personal License Holder or experience of licensing law
  • Food hygiene qualification
  • Multi-site management experience
  • Private Security Authority License
  • Health and safety qualification

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week but you will always receive your contracted hours per period. You will work a rolling shift pattern over a 7-day period, which will include early and late shifts between 8am and midnight.

Your working hours will include days, evenings, weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
