Key responsibilities:

This is fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced dynamic team. This position will involve night shift, covering 5 over 7 days. This is a site-based role.

  • Motivate Mitie onsite staff providing a strong team culture.
  • Receive time and attendance alerts and organise replacement cover where required.
  • Create strong relationship with client to highlight any changes to schedule etc., & to allow the cleaning team to adapt accordingly.
  • Be a main point of contact for receiving reports of spillages and urgent clean up items and deploy team to location to resolve.
  • Agree any training needs for staff members.
  • Undertake performance management of staff under your control, performance manage as necessary.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance issues with guidance from HR/Learning Partner to adopt a consistent approach.
  • Provide strong customer support in line with contract SLA's.
  • Provide a safe working environment for onsite staff and promote a strong QHSE awareness.
  • Complete “Toolbox” talks with staff on a regular basis.

About you:

  • Organised and strong resource planning ability
  • Interest in delivering outsourced Soft Services
  • 2-3 years’ experience in people management, ideally from a soft services background.
  • Proven track record in a demanding environment
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Able to adapt quickly to an ever-changing environment.
