Reserve List
Whilst the Council are recruiting for a permanent Duty Supervisor – Community Development please note that a reserve list will be compiled for future permanent, temporary, full time and part time posts for Duty Supervisor – Community Development positions across the Council District.


Job Summary
To assist the Community Facilities Manager and act as a team leader for front line staff ensuring each facility is a safe and pleasant experience for users. To act as senior person on site as per rota. To contribute to the development and implementation of a nationally accredited quality scheme.

Hours of Work
Rotating 4 week shift pattern - 36 hours per week.
The post holder must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant.

Rotating 4 week shift pattern - 36 hours per week.
Hours of work are kept under review and may change in order to meet operational requirements, providing requisite notice.

Location and transferability
Location is Ballynahinch Community Centre, Ballynahinch.
The post holder may be required to transfer to other locations in accordance with any requirements stated in the Job Description, any reviews of service delivery or other requirements as may arise from time to time. Any amendments made to work location will be implemented following appropriate consultation and provision of reasonable notice.

Salary
Scale 4 SCP 9-13, currently £27,254 - £29,064 per annum based on a 37 hour week (pro rata to hours worked). It is Council policy to appoint at minimum salary scale point. The working pattern above currently attracts a 10% shift allowance.
