Early Years Assistant

Permanent - 18 hours per week
£12,158.64 per annum
Job Purpose:
Lisburn Sure Start is currently seeking to recruit a Early Years Assistant. The ideal candidate will be able to provide a range of coordinated services to families with children pre-birth up to the age of 4 years. As a member of the Sure Start team, you will be expected to offer flexible support and services to children aged 0 - 4 and their families, working across all venues. This service will include both group and individual work in a variety of settings - including community centres.
Essential Criteria:
• Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Child Care qualification or equivalent (completed or working towards)
• 1 years’ paid / unpaid experience working in an early years setting
• 5 GCSEs including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above
• Clean drivers’ licence and access to transport.
