Early Years Educator

Duties:

·Plan and implement learning and education for the children attending the room.

·Deliver the Aistear curriculum and care responsibilities.

·Responsible for ensuring the overall wellbeing and development of key children attending.

·Liaise with Centre management, Room Leader, AIM/Better Start Support staff & external support agencies.

·Facilitate partnership with parents and work well with a team.

·Maintain all paperwork as required under Tusla

Childcare Regulations.

·Following all guidelines and regulations under Aistear, Siolta and the Childcare Regulations

·Work on own initiative with enthusiasm

·Create a warm and welcoming team environment.

Requirement’s:

·Minimum Level 5 QQI Childcare

·1 Year experience in a large childcare setting or in a similar role an advantage 

Job Specifications:

•Position is Monday to Friday, 52 and 38 week contract options

•Part time Contract 11 am to 5 pm/ 1 pm to 6 pm

•No weekends, No Bank Holidays

•Service closed Christmas Week, and 1 week in August

•Rest of Annual leave at personal discretion

•Onsite Parking
