Early Years Educators

Kilminchy School House Portlaoise is a nurturing learning environment where children are encouraged to creatively explore their world.

We now require an experienced Early Year Lead Educator ( L7/L8) for our Wobbler/ Toddler group / or ECCE Younger Group.

Experienced Level 6 applicants may also apply. Full-time position for the right candidate.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be able to demonstrate leadership, have a proven track record and have a true desire, lots of patience, portray love and kindness and willing to work with our youngest pupils.
• Must be creative, have great use of initiative, quick on your feet, excellent at multi tasking and well adept to designing the curriculum, incorporating lots of sensory and holistic experiences around the children's emergent interests.
• Excellent command of the English language
• Excellent at the administrative side of running a class and willing to undertake occasional training and CPD, prep outside hours if required.
• Must have up-to-date First Aid, FAR, and Manual Handling.

We need a Team Player and someone who is flexible to changing routines and groups if required within a busy service.

Starting Salary: €32- 35K per year (€27K+ pro rata if part-time)
