Early Years Relief (2pm-6pm)

Little Scholars Montessori & Childcare is looking for a part time Early Years relief staff member to join the team this coming September 2024. We have 3 small services located within Lusk and Baldoyle. You will be based in Lusk, Co.Dublin.

We are offering a part time position - Classroom hours are 2pm-6pm

We run a full day care & sessional service from 2 years & 8 months only and an afterschool service, you will be assisting in both age groups.

To cover breaks, holiday cover and sick leave with max of 15 preschool children and 24 afterschool children (these are separate groups). There will always be a minimum of 2 adults. .

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the safety, security and well being of all children in your care.
• To assist in the planning and implementation of an age-appropriate stimulating program of activities underpinned by Aistear and Siolta.
• To assist with the structure of the classroom daily routine and functionality.
• To assist with inspections as they arise.
• Management will always be on hand to assist

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE

Minimum Fetac Level 5- Supervision in Childcare/Early Childhood Care and Education.

A good understanding of all relative guidelines and regulations under Aistear, Siolta and the Childcare Regulations.

Montessori Teaching Diploma, First Aid, Manual Handling and Child Protection (all desirable but not essential).
