EH&S Advisor
Job Summary
The “Environment Health & Safety Advisor” will be based in Dundalk, Ireland reporting to Head of H&S, Ireland & UK and will be in charge of developing, implementing, and monitoring company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain Organisational Management Systems (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001) to ensure the effective management of Health, Safety and Environment matters at the Site Services Offices and on Operational Sites.
- Review, update, and publish HSE Controlled Documentation.
- Conducting and participating in the Auditing Process to assure compliance to requirements.
- Communicate & Maintain Organisational Policies and Metrics.
- Proactively work with operational teams to ensure that EHS is considered at all stages and that relevant control measures are identified.
- Promoting ownership and positive EHS culture.
- Monitoring and Measuring EHS objectives and targets in-line with defined metrics.
- Compliance Assurance in line with client, legislation, and best practices.
- Managing, mentoring, and coaching personnel to EHS requirements and norms.
- Control and maintain local Environmental Permits and Licences.
- Review, update, and publish CoHSS evaluations.
- Drive EHS Continual Improvement.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Degree in Engineering, Environment or Health Sciences OR equivalent experience OR NEBOSH level 5 certification. Lvl 6 Certificate in H+S minimum
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in EHS/similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize own workload and use initiative.
- Eligible to work in Ireland (EU).
- Full driving License/own transport as travel between sites may be required
