The Role

We are seeking Electrical Assemblers for a long-term opportunity based in Dublin 15, within a clean, secure, and modern manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for technically minded assemblers with experience in switchgear, control panel, or electrical assembly manufacturing. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and fitting low-voltage switchgear panels, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and the highest quality standards.

Pay rates starting at €15.15 per hour, rising to €24.15 depending on experience, plus overtime opportunities.

Pay Band – Electrical Assembler

* Band 1: €15.15 per hour

* Band 2: €16.65 per hour

* Band 3: €18.15 per hour

* Band 4: €19.65 per hour

* Band 5: €21.15 per hour

* Band 6: €22.65 per hour

* Band 7: €24.15 per hour

Overtime available, paid at 1.4× and 1.7× the hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble electrical switchgear panels, enclosures, and sub-assemblies.

* Carry out wiring, cabling, and installation of electrical components.

* Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.

* Perform basic testing and visual inspections to ensure quality compliance.

* Identify and report faults, missing components, or discrepancies.

* Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.

* Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams.

* Maintain a clean and organised work environment and follow all Health & Safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

* Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (QQI Level 4, 5 or 6, or a recognised equivalent).

* Previous experience in switchgear, control panel, or electrical assembly manufacturing.

* Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.

* Basic understanding of electrical components and assembly processes.

* Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity.

* Good awareness of workplace Health & Safety practices.

* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
