Activ8 Solar Energies are actively seeking qualified Electricians to install & commission domestic Solar PV systems. This position will be based out of our Ballinasloe location in Co. Galway. This is a full time permanent position inclusive of a competitive salary, bonus, pension, healthcare and additional benefits.

The Opportunity:

As a Solar Electrician you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems primarily on residential properties. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.

Responsibilities Include:

• Install solar panels and electrical components according to Safe electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.

• Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.

• Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.

• Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.

• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.

• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician ideally with 3+ years domestic experience.

• Live within a commutable distance ofBallinasloe, Co Galway.

• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.

• Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Test & Verification certification would be an advantage.

• Valid driver's license.

Schedule:
