RESPONSIBLE TO: Facilities Manager
TERMS: Permanent, 40 hours per week – (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4 pm)
Weekend & callout cover required on a rota basis

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This is an exciting time to join the Odyssey Site Wide Facilities Team. Working in a dynamic environment across the Odyssey site, encompassing the SSE Arena, W5 Science & Discovery Centre, W5 LIFE, Odyssey Place retail space and the Odyssey car parks. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, reactive repairs and minor works tasks.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Please ensure your CV demonstrates the following essential criteria and any desirable criteria you may have.
Essential Criteria
- City and Guilds – Electrical 2365 - Level 2 (Or Equivalent)
- 18th Edition 2382-22
- Minimum of 3 years’ post qualification electrical experience preferable in a commercial / industrial environment / FM environment.
- Basic IT Skills required for CAFM updating – training provided.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good Communication Skills
- Self-driven with a can-do attitude
- The ability to work on your own initiative and to work accurately under pressure.
- The ability to work at height and in confined spaces
- Willingness to be flexible, supporting an on-call rota will require some evening works.
Desirable Criteria
- City & Guilds 2377 in Portable Appliance Testing.
- City and Guilds inspection and testing 2391.
- Thermal imaging
- Experience in the use of fixed wire testing software – Napit, Niceic.
- Experience with PLCs, automation, or control systems, electronic components.
- CSR CARD.
- IPAF license
