Key Purpose of the Post:
To be responsible for providing a comprehensive maintenance, repair and new work electrical service with particular reference to electrical work on all buildings and equipment at Council owned/managed properties with formal issue of compliance certification.
To undertake all electrical duties including diagnosing and repairing faults as required, and responding to call-outs and emergencies in a timely manner including out of hours.
To ensure full compliance with all Health and Safety at Work legislation in accordance with the Council’s Health and Safety at Work policy and all associated procedures, guidance and legislation and to be an advocate for high standards of Health and Safety performance.
