Electrician, Engineering Department
Reporting to the Engineering Manager.
12 Month Fixed-Term Contract (with a view to a permanent contract of employment).
Competitive Salary
€39,507 - €46,975 on an 8 year pay scale
Shift
Monday to Friday, 08.00hrs to 16.30hrs.
Areas of responsibility (but not limited to)
• Diagnose and undertake electrical repairs on all Dublin Bus vehicles.
• Diagnostic and repair work to include charging system, starting system, door system, access ramp system, heating system, multiplexing, electrical control units, lighting system, radio, CCTV, ticketing system, automatic vehicle location system and all other electrical systems.

Qualifications/Requirements to apply for the role
National Craft Certificate for the trade of Electrician awarded by SOLAS/Department of Education following the successful completion of a recognised SOLAS apprenticeship – Or equivalent to this level 6 qualification, in the National Framework of Qualifications in Ireland.
OR
Advanced Certificate – Craft awarded by FETAC following the successful completion of a recognised SOLAS apprenticeship - Or equivalent to this level 6 qualification, in the National Framework of Qualifications in Ireland.
Other requirements
• Over 21 (to comply with D licence regulation).
• Fluent spoken and written English.
