This is the perfect time to join CHI’s Project Ogham team as an Application Analyst for Electronic Health Record (EHR). You will be part of a team dedicated to implementing an EHR for the opening of new National Children’s Hospital Ireland (NCHI).

We are hiring people to work as Application Analysts to implement a new digital system for CHI patients. If you have an interest in digital health or are currently working in a hospital setting, please apply. If shortlisted, you will be asked to attend a two-hour aptitude test for us to assess your suitability for the role.

The Role:

The EHR Application Analyst (Grade V) is a core member of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) application team. The Application Analyst will attend EHR vendor training and receive certification in system configuration. The analyst will undertake configuration and testing of EHR application and contribute to training, readiness activities and system go live support.

This position would suit candidates with clinical healthcare background, experience working in hospital administration and operations and/or digital health experience.

Essential Criteria:

Applicants must meet all the following:

  • A relevant third level degree/post-graduate qualification plus at least 2 years’ experience in a relevant role in an acute hospital setting or digital healthcare transformation projects

or

  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar role in an acute hospital setting or with a large organizational digital transformation project

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience and understanding of acute paediatric hospital services and processes in ROI, Northern Ireland and UK
  • Prior use of Epic as an end-user, an analyst or Epic system certification.
  • Experience with large scale organizational projects related to digital healthcare.
  • Experience in development and management of clinical applications in an acute healthcare environment.
  • Related Postgraduate qualification or Continuing Professional Development.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office products

Candidates who have been shortlisted based on eligibility criteria will be invited to undertake an aptitude test. This is a two-hour online proctored assessment for the candidate to complete within defined timeframe. Candidates who meet the required threshold will be selected and invited for interview.
