As the Emerging Talent Acquisition Specialist you will design and manage the Emerging Talent Initiatives and work with the wider Talent Acquisition team to attract and select high quality candidates into our Emerging Talent roles while assisting other recruitment initiatives that support our DEI strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a highly vibrant environment and to be part of innovative approaches to finding and developing great people for PTSB. You will work in partnership with Hiring Managers, the Talent Team and third party providers where needed. You will ensure a top class experience for candidates and business leaders through the full recruitment cycle.
Responsibilities:
Emerging Talent Acquisition
- Build out our Campus recruitment strategy for Graduate recruitment, Internships, apprenticeships, transition year, CoOps and placements
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including universities and schools
- Provide high quality design and administration of Emerging Talent Campaigns and programmes, ensuring PTSB is keeping up to date with the ET market trends
HR Talent Team Collaboration
- In partnership with the Talent and Resourcing Manager, contribute with the design, plan and implementation of our Emerging Talent Recruitment strategy
- Track, report and maintain the recruiting system updated with a high level of integrity and accuracy
- Provide market information, recruitment best practice and insights to the Recruitment Team and hiring managers
Governance and Risk Management
- Keep up-to-date with all relevant recruitment/HR legislation and support processes to ensure Talent Acquisition is fully compliant
- Review and challenge the talent acquisition governance processes including risk event reporting, annual policy review
- Ensure high quality standards in recruitment for all roles,
- Liaise with HR Operations to ensure contracts of employment are issued and pre-employment checks are completed for new hires
Requirements:
Essential
- Must have a passion for identifying talent, sourcing, screening and placing candidates with a strong emphasis on top quality hiring
- Good knowledge of talent analytics and their use in the Talent Acquisition environment
- Ability to advise hiring managers on developing a world class emerging talent sourcing strategy for the different business areas
- Have strong consulting skills and the ability to work in a team environment sharing best practice with changing priorities and time pressures
Desired
- Previous experience working in the Emerging Talent/Graduate Recruitment/Campus Recruitment space
- Third level degree in Human Resources or Business related discipline
- Ideally have or working towards CIPD / formal Recruitment Qualification CIPD/Recruitment
- End to end recruitment / assessment process including competency / behavioural based assessment techniques
This is a permanent position, based in PTSB Head Office, St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin (Hybrid option available within the Republic of Ireland only)
