Enforcement Officer

A temporary vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-

Enforcement Officer
37 Hours per week
Fixed term to 31 March 2027
Scale 6 and in the range SCP 20-24 (Currently £32,597 – £35,412)

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Work as part of the Public Protection, Health & Wellbeing team to ensure that service provision is customer focussed, innovative and best value for money.
• Enforce via both proactive and reactive measures, all relevant legislation, local Orders and bye-laws relating to dogs, litter, waste and local environmental quality matters.
• Contribute to effective liaison and partnership arrangements related to the functions of the department.
