The Role

Environmental Operators are tasked with for waste materials movements, effluent testing & discharge, abatement system checks and operation. This ranges from shipments of waste streams; dealing with production/chemists/analysts; operating to the highest ISO standards including the team; completing documentation; and waste disposal were appropriate. All duties are performed following Arran’s EHS procedures. Operators are under the supervision of the Environmental Supervisor(s).

What we are looking for

Essential Criteria

· Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) grade C or above, to include Mathematics and English Language

Desirable Criteria

(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exists)

· Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) in Science related subject (i.e., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Science, Engineering)

· Previous experience operating a counterbalance fork truck

· Previous experience operating a computerised inventory control system

· Previous experience in a stores environment

· Knowledge and understanding of cISO

Have eligibility to work in Ireland OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in Ireland
