Executive Assistant

37 Hours Per Week - Permanent Contract - Hybrid

Cheshire Ireland Central Office, Ballymount Dublin 24.

Cheshire Ireland is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the CEO and Executive Team, as well as acting as liaison to the Board of Trustees, Company Secretary and Senior Leadership Team. The role holder will also have responsibility for the oversight of the management of our Central Office in Dublin 24.

What you will do

This is a busy and varied role, full duties and responsibilities are outlined in the full Role Profile attached.

Key responsibilities include support to the CEO and Executive Team, acting as liaison to the Board of Trustees, Company Secretary and Senior Leadership Team, administrative support to the Board, calendar management, meeting coordination, minute taking, oversight of the management of our Central Office and management of the Central Office admin team.

Confidentiality and discretion are key requirements, as such the Executive Assistant will maintain strong boundaries and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.

Who we are looking for

The successful candidate will be educated to 3rd level and have at least 3 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar.

They will have excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, multi-task and work well on their own initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak and write English fluently is essential, they will have the ability to draft written communication without the assistance of AI.

Candidates will also possess strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, a high degree of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information and be proficient to intermediate/advanced level in Microsoft Office 365 tools.

The role will involve periodic travel and as such the candidate will need to have a current driver’s licence, their own vehicle and be willing to travel on occasion for work. Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
