Executive Business Manager, University Hospital

We are seeking a dynamic, highly organised, and strategic Business Manager to provide direct support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cork University Hospital. This is a pivotal role at the heart of CUH’s executive leadership team, offering the opportunity to influence decision-making, drive strategic initiatives, and support the overall delivery of our mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level business and operational support to the CEO.
• Lead and coordinate the preparation of reports, business cases, presentations, and strategic documents.
• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of hospital-wide strategic and operational plans.
• Liaise with internal departments, HSE stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
• Monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and follow up on key action items from executive meetings.
• Provide analytical and project management support for critical initiatives.
• Represent the CEO’s office as needed and ensure efficient communication flow across the hospital’s senior leadership.
