Job Title: Grade IV, Outpatients Department

Expressions of Interest are invited from interested staff of HSE Mid-West who are currently employed in a permanent capacity at Grade IV level.

At the closing date of Friday 16th January 2026, at 5pm, the applicant must be a direct employee of the HSE Mid-West (Acute and Older Persons Services and Community Healthcare Organisation), currently employed as a Grade IV (Grade Code 0558), in a permanent capacity and interested in reassigned to the role of Grade IV, Outpatients Department, HSE Mid-West Acute and Older Persons Services.

Reassignment to the post will be on a grade to grade basis only and current remuneration will apply.

Details of the Post:

Duties will include (but not limited to)

- General reception duties, clinic organisation in Outpatients Department

- IPMS usage e.g., attendance registrations, appointment making, clinic outcomes, detail verification, chart tracking.

- Chart/Healthcare Records management

- Department cross cover as appropriate

Required Hours of Attendance:

The standard weekly working hours of attendance for this grade are 35 hours per week. You will be required to work agreed roster/on-call arrangements advised by your Reporting Manager. Your contracted hours are liable to change between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm over seven days to meet the requirements for extended day services in accordance with the terms of collective agreements and HSE Circulars.
