Facilities Attendant

About the role:

The Facilities Attendant plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment across our site. This position ensures that facility areas, restrooms, and operational spaces are maintained to high hygienic standards, supporting daily business operations and team health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain continuous on-site cleanliness across production, office, and common areas in accordance with site EHS standards.
• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising designated spaces.
• Ensure restrooms and kitchen areas are fully sanitised, stocked with essential supplies, and maintained throughout the day.
• Safely handle, store, and dispose of facility waste, recycling, and cleaning chemicals following site guidelines.
• Report facility maintenance issues, safety hazards, or stock replenishment needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial, industrial, or facility cleaning environments.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and basic health and safety standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
