The Role & What You Will Be Doing
The Facilities Cleaning Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all cleaning operations on-site to ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety. This role involves scheduling, supervising cleaning staff, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with cleaning protocols and health regulations.

- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily cleaning activities across the site.
- Coordinate and support the on-site cleaning team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleaning standards are consistently met.
- Address and resolve any cleaning issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and any corrective actions taken.
- Order, manage, and monitor cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and other relevant guidelines.
- Liaise with site management and other departments to coordinate cleaning activities without disruption to operations.
- Assist in staff training and development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform other duties as assigned
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent situations effectively.
- Prior experience in a cleaning coordinator role, preferably in a large or high-traffic facility.
- Knowledge of health, hygiene, and safety regulations
- Experience using cleaning machinery and equipment.
- Health & Safety certification(s) desirable (e.g., Manual Handling, Fire Safety, First Aid).
- Basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and communication purposes.
