Overview of the role:

The Veolia Facilities Coordinator will be part of the Veolia site team at the clients site in Ringaskiddy. He/she will liaise with the contract team, client engineering, equipment vendors and service providers to ensure maximum uptime of utilities plant and equipment within the contract scope, and that equipment is following all regulatory, statutory and client corporate requirements.

Duties of the Role include: 
  • Drive reliability engineering and reliability centred maintenance (RCM).

  • Liaising with contract team and client to review maintenance programme and effecting changes to methods and procedures where appropriate.

  • Continuous improvement of contract delivery on site - Identifying cost and energy saving. Reviewing CMMS systems PM’s-frequencies and methods of work innovative technology. Compare work methods to current industry norms in the Pharma industry.

  • Quality - prepare and participate in internal and external audits. 

  • Ensure that all PM’s, of assigned equipment/systems is completed on schedule, within budget, in a safe and satisfactory manner and all documentation is completed.

  • Analysis of new technology for optimisation of plant and processes

  • Ensure all work on site is carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.

  • Compliance/Quality – recording and investigation of deviations on qualified utility plant and equipment, using client’s quality system.

  • Responsible for the initial screening of Incoming Work orders, Identification of scope and analysis of required level of planning

  • Prepare preventive maintenance plans and ensure all activities are completed as per what is scheduled on CMMS were required. 

  • Attend department team meetings to ensure maintenance activities are appropriately scheduled.

Required skills for this role: 
  • Engineering degree or equivalent, preferably mechanical/ electrical and/or civil structural architectural, with three to ten years post graduate experience, or

  • Agrees to attend MTU for a part time course on Project Management or a Civil Structural degree inQ3 of 2024

  • Knowledge and experience of CMMS (EAMS system on site)

  • Maintenance and troubleshooting experience of the following systems and processes – Building Fabric, Drainage, Refrigeration, Clean Rooms, Fire suppression systems; HVAC; Building Management Systems (BMS). Water generation and distribution, Compressed air.
