We’re hiring a Facilities Manager to lead our site facilities team at Apleona. This is a hands-on management role where you’ll actively support your team to ensure safety, quality, service and cost targets are met or exceeded.
You’ll oversee daily operations across all shifts, manage performance and support new hires. Your leadership will help us deliver on key objectives for our clients in a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and build a positive team culture
- Manage people day-to-day with regular feedback and resource planning
- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment and plant utilities to high standards
- Implement strategic engineering goals, KPIs and objectives
- Attend tier meetings, own facilities actions and close them on time
- Resolve technical issues promptly to support operations
- Oversee site procedures, non-conformances and corrective actions
- Review work orders and carry out preventative maintenance
- Coordinate contractors and ensure compliance with site requirements
- Manage shift patterns, holiday cover and overtime
- Conduct performance reviews and support continuous improvement
- Keep clients informed and uphold excellent customer service
Qualifications and Experience
- Third level engineering qualification or senior trades background with experience
- Previous experience in maintenance or facilities within a regulated environment
- Strong financial, systems and process understanding
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and customer service focus
- Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement
