An exciting opportunity has arisen to join with a dynamic market intelligence company in a role where you can really make a difference. We are looking for a proactive Field Coordinator to support and manage our remotely located workers as well as monitor the quality of data as it flows through the systems (i.e., to and from the field).

The role will suit an experienced and confident coordinator/team leader who can clearly communicate project requirements to remote contractors and provide the necessary support, while enforcing compliance obligations and deadlines. This is a role that includes Quality Control and experience in data analysis and analytical reporting would be beneficial.

As a key member of the Ireland client services team and reporting directly to the Operational Manager offshore, your ideas will be taken seriously, and you will have a direct opportunity to improve operational processes and develop better outcomes. You will benefit from exposure to a wide variety of projects and business objectives that require different types of capture technology, survey approaches, environments and challenges, gaining valuable experience in a role that will grow with you.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and management of field contractors across the Republic of Ireland to meet data collection deadlines
  • Organisation and provision of training and equipment to field contractors
  • Recruitment of field contractors and distribution of ‘welcome packs’ as required
  • Field Data Collectors will be self-employed, and you will be expected to analyse and verify their invoices for calculation, payment, and oversight
  • Monitoring and tracking operational performance and compliance obligations
  • Monitoring data quality (to and from the field)
  • Building rapport and supporting contractors to maintain high team morale and cooperation
  • Answering incoming calls and re-directing queries as needed
  • Providing operational support for other projects as required
  • Problem solving
  • At times you might be required to cover for field data contractors when they are not available and do data collection

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a large team of self-employed contractors
  • Experience in the accurate prioritisation, organisation and management of multiple tasks
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems in a logical manner with an investigative and inquisitive approach
  • Proven ability to disseminate and correlate data, resulting in effective reporting
  • Composure, remaining cool under pressure and handling stress
  • An upbeat attitude that will contribute in building a positive team environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Willing and able to learn new concepts and skills
  • Confidence to raise concerns, along with potential solutions, to team members and managers
  • Be entitled to work in Ireland.
  • Have a valid Driver's Licence and their own transport.
