Role: Finance & Administration Assistant

Reporting to: Finance Manager

Summary of Role and Responsibilities

The Finance & Administration Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Finance Officer (FO) in delivering all finance and administration duties for the Good Shepherd Centre and Kilkenny Voluntary Housing Association. The organisation has strict governance and financial regulations and standards. The assistant will ensure, in conjunction with the finance officer, that these are strictly adhered to.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • To work within the Policy framework of the partner organisations.
  • In conjunction with the FO administer debtors and creditors accounts
  • To provide support with general administration across finance, property management and procurement and financial reporting and compliance to statutory funders.
