​The Role

​Oxfam Ireland is currently looking for a Finance Coordinator​to​ensure effective data processing, reporting, financial management, implementation of partner accounting, reporting, monitoring systems and capacity development support to partners for Oxfam Ireland’s 5-year programme under Ireland’s Civil Society Partnership (ICSP) funded by the Irish Government through Irish Aid.​

​The successful applicant will be a focal point for all financial matters for the ICSP Programme and ensure compliance with all the Oxfam guidelines in the implementation of the programme.

​KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Be responsible for the financial implementation of the ICSP grant. Effectively manage the financial and logistical elements of ICSP operations in Ireland and oversee the correct and up to date implementation of the grant in the 8 participating countries (including Ireland).

· Compile all the financial reports from the 8 countries of implementation (including Ireland) into a single annual financial report in line with Irish Aid requirements and templates.

· Work with the ICSP PMU, Oxfam country teams and partner organisations to ensure excellent programme and budget performance.

· Provide training, support and guidance to partners including building their capacity to effectively manage the ICSP grant, in coordination with the PMU and Oxfam country teams.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

​To be considered for the role, candidates should possess a range of skills and experience including:

· Qualified accountant, by examination. ACCA, CIMA, ACA

· Previous experience in working for an INGO or similar

· Previous experience in managing large multi country projects/programmes.

· Previous experience with institutional donors.

· Ability to prioritise own workload and work independently to deadlines.
