Location: Hybrid working, which will include a blend of onsite (Dublin, Molesworth Street) and remote working ( 3 days in the office & 2 days Remote)

This role is being offered as a 3.5-year training contract
Our Finance Team
We’re made up of small teams where you have the chance to expand your knowledge and be heavily involved in new and ongoing projects. As part of the programme, you will gain exposure to some of the following:
- Learn the AIB Project Methodology through involvement in numerous projects including how to draft a technical specification
- Data visualisation skills development from maintenance of existing dashboards to building dashboards from scratch, learning scripting language, and implementing complex data visualisation solutions.
- Complete a journey of SQL competence from basic queries to complex scripts.
- Exposure to working with Teradata (Relational Database Management System), other AIB systems and platforms and a knowledge of the development of Financial Data.
- Data analysis and cleansing.
- Gathering Data Development requirements and documenting technical specifications.
- Running Financial Information Management reports.
- Monitoring data visualisation batches and fixing issues.
- Troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes.
There will be at least 1 rotation, where we will challenge you to ensure your learning and development potential is maximised over the duration of the programme.
Graduates on this programme are given the opportunity to attend online courses in UCD to supplement on the job learning . There you will be able to develop a range of important skills, including practical data manipulation, visualisation, analytics, and machine learning. The programme assessment is project based enabling you to demonstrate your understanding and familiarity of each semester’s content in a work themed, practical way. On completion of the programme, you will receive the following from UCD:
- Diploma in Data Analysis without Coding
- Diploma in Database Fundamentals
- Certificate in Python Programming
- Diploma in Data Analytics: Visualisation
- Diploma in Data Analytics: Machine Learning
- Specialist Certificate in Data Analytics

Entry Requirements:
- Achieved or expected to achieve a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent for universities outside of Ireland) is a prerequisite for those joining the AIB graduate programme.
- Candidates must be fully authorised to work in Ireland or hold a valid work permit for the full duration of the 3.5-year contract (September 2026 – March 2030). Confirmation of these will be sought if successful for the role.
