Finance Graduate Employment

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Graduate to harness their skills and pursue their full accounting qualifications. Based in BWG Head Office and reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will help identify and document business requirements to assist in the procurement and implementation of solutions and processes as part of the Graduate Employment.

This role will be a hybrid working model. Successful candidates will be based in Head Office.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the maintenance of accounting records.

• Preparation of accounts and assisting with financial reporting.

• Assisting with management reporting and business analysis.

• Involved in year-end audit and half-year reporting process.

• Assisting with tax, regulatory compliance, and transaction support.

• Ad-hoc projects, as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Educated to undergraduate honours degree level in a relevant discipline.
• Achievement of a 2.1 (or equivalent) in their chosen field of study preferred.
• Committed to pursuing a career in accounting, preferably in ACCA.
• Strong interpersonal, numeracy and communication skills
• The ability to challenge the status quo constructively and respectfully through the pursuit of improvement.
• Excellent organisational skills
• The ability to think clearly and in innovative ways.

• Demonstrable flexibility and adaptability
• The ability to problem solves creatively for the benefit of our customers and the business.
• Possess a full clean driver licence.
