Stryker Finance Internship

This Co-Op Student would be a member of the management accounting team in Cork, partnering with Operations and Support functions. Broad responsibility across all management accounting areas over the duration of the Co-Op programme.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Input into budgeting process through taking responsibility for budget inputs, working with the business to set the appropriate budgets and projections, and holding others accountable for performance against targets.
  • Forecasting on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis.
  • Capital appraisal of potential investments, tracking of capital spend throughout project life and at close out, governance of CIP balances, fixed assets register and physical asset cycle counting processStandard costing of products, development and maintenance of standard costs and the associated ERP work.
  • Support compliance and internal/external audit activities
  • Ad-hoc projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Knowledge Skills

  • Honesty and Integrity essential. Must comply with the quality system, regulations, and company policies
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and hardworking. Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast and results orientated environment
  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual
  • Organised, focused and capable of multi-tasking
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic level of PC skills required
  • Is a team player and capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team?
