Location:

Dublin City & Dundalk with Hybrid working options (Approximately 2 days in the office and 3 days from home weekly)

The primary objective of the Senior Digital Financial Advisor is to provide professional advice to individuals on their financial needs through the Irish Life financial advice process, with adherence to Irish Life compliance standards.

Key Accountabilities

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: 

• Conduct financial reviews with customers over Microsoft Teams and recommend products in adherence to Irish Life compliance standards

• Provide professional best advice in developing clear financial plans for new and existing clients, while delivering superior customer satisfaction

• Ensure compliance with Company policies, regulatory and professional requirements

• Adhere to appropriate risk management procedures to control, monitor and report on business activities

• Achieve challenging performance targets, working to agreed targets and standards

• Responsible for Inbound/Outbound engagement to new and existing customers

• Capacity to answer a wide range of queries and solve problems for customers

• Proactively protect, maintain and develop existing Client Bank

• Keep up to date with all changes in the commercial environment and completes Continual Professional Development (CPD) on an ongoing basis

Desired Knowledge / Experience / Skills

The successful candidate should ideally possess the following:

• Possess QFA (have passed all ‘Qualified Financial Advisor’ exams) and be up to date on all CPD requirements

• Existing experience in providing financial advice to customers a distinct advantage

• Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements of Irish Life and the Central Bank

• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written & listening

• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

• Excellent telephone manner and etiquette

• Ability to present a strong professional image of Irish Life

• Relevant 3rd Level Qualification would be an advantage

• The minimum educational standard is a Leaving Cert (or its equivalent internationally). The Leaving Cert results must have at least two subjects with a Higher Level grade of C3 or better and a minimum of a pass in Maths and English. If the applicant has sat the Leaving Cert exam more than ten years prior to applying, it is at the discretion of the company to allow you progress

Fitness & Probity:

This role is a ‘controlled function’ as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that the appointee meets the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity standards issued by the Central Bank. This requires the company to complete prescribed due diligence to assess the appointee’s fitness and probity. Further details on this due diligence process are available from HR.
