Financial Controller

The Job
We require a Financial Controller to lead the finance function of the firm;
The post is either on a full time or part time basis.
The Wilson Nesbitt Accounts team uses computerised systems to process large volumes of transactions to services the firm’s requirements & is located in our Bangor office;

Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (CA or CIMA).
  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller, including direct management of a finance team.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and IT tools that enhance finance operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience liaising with auditors, banks, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise under pressure and work independently.
Desirable Skills
  • A proactive approach to financial leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience in legal or professional services environments
