If you wish to join our team here in CCD we are seeking applications for a lecturer to deliver our Financial Crime Investigation diploma course. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for their subject and an ability to instil and encourage the same in their students.

Teaching experience is a preference for this position which is available on a part-time basis.

Details:

Location: Live online and In-Person (depending on student demand)

Duration: 10 weeks

Day & Times: Tuesday - 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Start Date: 19th May 2026

Syllabus:

• Introduction; Financial Crime - A Global Phenomena
• What am I investigating - Legislation in relation to financial crime offences
• Money laundering and its relationshop to financial crime
• Cybercrime, the future of financial crime
• Role of the Corporate Enforcement Authority in the fight against financial crime
• How to identify financial crime and ways to reduce it
• Investigating allegations both internal and external
• Interviewing withness and suspects
• Preparing your investigation report, present case in civil or cimrinal proceedings and the possible outcomes

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum post graduate qualification in Law is essential
• Relevant and subject related industry experience
• Previous experience teahcing or delivering training is desired
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Excellent Presentation, I.T. and Interpersonal skills
• Proactive approach to supporting and developing others with a demonstrate-able interest in learner employability, activation, and progression
