Join us as a Financial Planning Manager 

This is a key role at the heart of Three Ireland’s planning cycle, leading the annual budget and forecast process from end to end. It brings together financial insight, scenario planning and clear executive reporting to help shape decisions and track performance against budget and the five-year plan.

What else it involves:

Budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and update the CFO on financial outlook
  • Present budget and forecast updates to the CEO and Leadership Squad
  • Prepare presentations on KPI performance, budgets and forecasts for senior stakeholders and Group
  • Ensure departmental submissions align to plan and highlight any corrective actions needed
  • Coordinate submissions with Hong Kong and ensure supporting documentation is complete and on time
  • Communicate outcomes and follow-up actions after each budget cycle
  • Track performance against plan and highlight risks to financial delivery
  • Partner with Finance Business Partners to monitor KPIs, plans and initiatives

Strategic planning and financial modelling

  • Work with the business and Finance Business Partners to understand strategic priorities
  • Build and manage forecasting models to support planning and decisions
  • Own and maintain the five-year plan
  • Develop scenario models and provide recommendations on budget impacts
  • Maintain financial models that support forecasting and decision-making
  • Monitor business trends and variances, escalating issues where needed
  • Support ad hoc projects by assessing budget and five-year plan impact

Other

  • Lead and develop the planning team to deliver high-quality budgeting and forecasting
  • Drive improvements in planning processes and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy and decision support

Technical and analytical capability:

  • Strong FP&A experience and commercial understanding
  • Creative, practical and solutions-focused
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Highly analytical, with a strong eye for trends, risks and opportunities

Communication and presentation:

  • Presents complex information clearly and confidently
  • Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Clear and concise communicator

Organisation and professional profile:

  • Well organised, with strong time management skills
  • Proactive, adaptable and hands-on
  • Fully qualified accountant with relevant industry and leadership experienceenter job description
