Join us as a Financial Reporting & Capital Accounting Manager 

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting & Capital Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, and cashflow reporting within a complex, regulated environment.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting & Planning, this role leads a high-performing team and is accountable for the accuracy, integrity, and governance of statutory and management reporting. The position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, group policies, and regulatory requirements, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business, the parent company, and external auditors.
This is a senior role suited to a technically strong finance leader who enjoys combining hands-on expertise with team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

What else it involves:

Financial Reporting & Capital Accounting

  • Own the delivery and integrity of statutory accounts, management reporting, fixed asset (tangible and intangible) accounting, and cashflow reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial submissions in line with IFRS, Irish GAAP, and Group accounting policies.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, governance, and documentation across all reporting processes.
  • Oversee capital accounting, asset lifecycle management, and depreciation policies.

Audit, Compliance & Governance

  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, managing the end-to-end audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting standards and evolving reporting obligations.

Stakeholder & Group Engagement

  • Partner closely with senior finance leaders and business stakeholders to provide technical accounting advice and reporting insight.
  • Act as a key liaison with Group Finance, ensuring alignment with reporting requirements and timelines.
  • Communicate complex accounting matters clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Systems, Process & Change

  • Support the development and delivery of finance systems strategy across reporting, cashflow, and fixed assets.
  • Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and automation across financial reporting processes.
  • Lead change initiatives impacting reporting, accounting policies, or finance systems.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals and subject matter experts.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support capability development and succession planning within the team.

The Skills were looking for:

  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • 8+ years’ post-qualification experience in financial reporting.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge across IFRS and Irish GAAP.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing external audits.
  • Experience working within large, complex or multinational organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior level.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
