Fleet Development Manager

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Fleet Development Manager to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

The Fleet Development Manager would join our Technical Services Engineering team. Based in our Dublin office and reporting to the Head of Technical Services. This job has a closing date of Wednesday the 24th of April.

This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Fleet Development Manager include:

  • Manage the continuous production schedule and delivery into service of the Boeing 737-8200 aircraft.
  • Drive high quality assurance for production aircraft and ensure any issues are immediately highlighted and resolved with Boeing management. Ensure maximum post delivery commitments are obtained for same.
  • Oversee all production changes ensuring they are agreed, and relevant stakeholders are aware of production changes and improvements.
  • Co-ordinate the Ryanair build spec and entry into service requirements for the MAX 10 aircraft
  • Manage fleet aircraft transitions – sales, lease returns and AOC transfers.
  • Support contractual negotiations & build spec for lease and sale aircraft
  • Engaging with various Aviation Authorities on the registration/transition of aircraft

Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience working in an airline.
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to operate at the highest level, whilst capable of managing key industry stakeholder relationships (eg OEM, Lessors and NAAs).
  • Possess exceptional technical, commercial and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to quickly analyse problems and implement practical solutions.
  • Ability to operate at the highest management levels in Ryanair.
  • Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.
  • Excellent management skills are a must as is an ability to drive results to tight timelines.
