Flight Operations Analyst

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Flight Operations Analyst to join Europe's largest airline group!

We are currently seeking a Flight Operations Analyst to support the Ryanair Network. Reporting to the ATM Project Manager and working within our fast paced Flight Operations Dept, this permanent position is based in our Dublin HQ. The standard office hours are: 08:30-17:30 Monday-Thursday, 08:00-17:00 Friday or as required by your Manager and the operation.

Duties:

Air Traffic Management Analytics:

  • Analysis of flight delays and airflow restrictions in European Airspace, including RCA of delays
  • Provide weekly reports on flight delays
  • Assist ATM project manager
  • Maintain monthly submissions
  • Attend meetings with or on behalf of ATM Project Manager


Flight Ops Systems Support:

  • Liaise between Operations Control Centre (OCC) and IT department regarding operational issues
  • Test new versions of software/applications before release to operations team and crew
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on IT software/hardware in the OCC where necessary
  • Assist the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Administrator with day to day running of EFB functions such as, weekly updates and iPad distribution
  • Preparation of Emission Trading Scheme (ETS) reporting - monthly/ annually

Requirements

  • Strong analytical ability to drive efficiency, quality and continuous improvements
  • Ability to work in a pressurised and fast paced environment
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines effectively and efficiently
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Power point etc)
  • Strong IT knowledge including knowledge of Apple iPads
