Food & Beverage Supervisor

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join our F&B team at Ballyfin. This is a full-time position, 5 days over 7day working approximately 3pm to closing.

Reporting to the Restuarant Manager & F&B Manager, the Food & Beverage Supervisor will be responsible to provide the highest possible standards of service and guest comfort at all times; and to promote a positive image to both guests and colleagues alike. You are required to ensure that all floor staff adheres to the impeccable standards given by senior management.

Previous experience as a Senior F&B assistant or Assistant Maitre D is essential. A good understanding of wine knowledge is also advantageous.

Main Duties:

• Supervise the Food & Beverage service in the Hotel for your assigned shift
• Assisting in setting the required five-star standards while also ensuring the efficient day to day running of service departments.
• Ensuring the service areas are adequately staffed and supervised and a high standard of service is delivered
• Work in closely with the Head Chef, F&B Manager and guests on menu planning and development of Food & Beverage events for clients
• Responsibility for inventory and stocks including wines, beverages.
• Plan, organise, control and review all service and systems to provide the best possible service to guests.
• To ensure a high level of hygiene throughout the departments, and ensure all of the team respect and maintain the equipment and furniture in the restaurant, bar and lounge areas.
• Act as a mentor and ensure all employees receive adequate training
• To work closely with senior management in achieving required targets in relation to payroll and gross profit percentage
