Description and Responsibilities:
Our Food, Safety & Quality Intern will be assigned to one of our FSQ teams based at our Carrigaline site. As part of these teams, you will carry out the following tasks:
Support quality and food safety projects across the site.
Assist in tracking and trending key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality and safety.
Participate in internal audits and inspections, helping to document findings and follow-up actions.
Help develop and maintain product specifications, sampling plans, and control systems.
Contribute to live quality and safety initiatives, including risk assessments and system updates.
Assist in any ad hoc duties or projects that may arise within the FSQ team

What we are Looking for:
Studying Chemistry, Food Science, Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or related degree and on track for a 2:1 degree classification
Results-Oriented
Motivated self-starter with the determination and drive to succeed.
Strong ability to work well in a team and work independently.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams
Good organisational, time management & communication skills.
