Your Role:
To work within a highly motivated team of fraud investigators as part of the 9am to 5pm shift . To investigate complex cases of suspected internal or external fraud, conducting in-depth analysis, and managing investigations from detection to resolution. Make outbound calls to customers to review and investigate the fraudulent claims (e.g., unauthorized transactions or account takeovers). Confirm activity as genuine or fraudulent. Gather and collate evidence to then prepare detailed investigation reports and make recommendations for fraud case outcomes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Investigation Management: Use the relevant systems such as PSD/Fraud Database, TSYS, Unibanks, Aric and Featurespace to investigate fraudulent cases from end-to-end.
- Data Analysis: Analyse information and data to identify issues, trends and all evidence to be used in investigating the circumstances of fraud cases.
- Evidence Handling: Gather and analyse evidence to build comprehensive cases.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Engage directly with bank customers in response to their queries or at the foot of your findings. Support other functions within the FC&LP function as required.
- Reporting & Prevention: Prepare detailed investigation reports and make recommendations not only on case outcomes but also for making improvements or updates to our fraud prevention tools.
Requirements:
- Good computer literacy in use of MS office, including Word, Excel
- An excellent telephone manner and strong on customer service
- A willingness to develop personal skills and complete professional training
Desired
- Knowledge of PSD regulation and PTSB Banking/Telephony systems.
- Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in problem solving/decision making.
- Good judgement and ability to use your initiative.
- A proven strong team player
- Knowledge of financial criminal activity would be an advantage
This is a permanent position based in PTSB's St.Stephens Green Dublin (Hybrid option available within the Republic Of Ireland Only)(2 positions to fill)
