Freight Forwarder - Sea, Air, Road

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Freight Forwarder to join our team. As a Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of international shipments, ensuring efficient transportation and timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global logistics, customs regulations, and supply chain management.

Role Requirements:

• Import / Export Operations
• Liaisng with customers and key accounts
• Develop new business and expand in existing clients (this will be incentivised)
• Communicate all information correctly to hauliers – inform drivers of Shipping/Collection/Delivery booking references, times and locations.
• Keep customers informed of any changes to delivery schedules

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in European Road/Sea Freight Operations within the Irish freight forwarding or transport industry in IRELAND
• Good systems experience
• Strong administration skills
• Team player & problem solver is key
• Excellent communications skills, written & verbal
