Fulfillment / Shipping Operative

Shipping / Fulfillment Operative

As Shipping / Fulfillment Operative you will participate and support in the day to day processing of shipments within LetsGetChecked. You will be responsible for both the Business to Business and Business to Customer process from product release through to Pick Pack & Ship. You will be tasked with uploading and sorting material upon release to shipping, processing shipments including but not limited to packing, staging and loading in preparation for dispatch. As part of the team you will have a thorough understanding of Fulfillment & Shipping within the Supply Chain. All actions to be carried out in accordance with customer requirements and maintained within service level KPI’s. You will be encouraged to identify and execute on areas for continuous improvement Maintenance of excellent housekeeping standards and compliance with all health and safety requirements being a prerequisite. From time to time you will be requested to support other departments where required.

Principal Duties/ Responsibilities: 

• Your will be responsible for both the Business to Business and Business to Customer process from product release through to Pick Pack & Ship. 
• Ensure daily global dispatch levels are maintained.
• Creating shipping labels and paperwork
• Pick & Pack assembly.
• Load/unload deliveries.
• Sortation of orders, checking against paperwork.
• Getting orders ready for shipping.
• General warehouse duties.
• Housekeeping of all areas.
• Scanning and recording of freight.
• Completion of tasks as set by management.
• Regular stock takes.
• Understand and work within Quality guidelines and requirements.
• Comply with Work Instructions, Safety and Quality systems and procedures in their area.
• Such other duties in support of other departments or projects as determined from time to time.

What we're looking for... 

• The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in a Logistics role.
• You should have a strong work ethic with attention to detail.
• This person should be confident in dealing with colleagues at all levels.
• Proficient keyboard and computer skills including excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Word, or equivalent spreadsheet, and word processing applications.
• Knowledge/Familiarity of delivery documentation/paperwork.
• Excellent oral and written communication ability.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
