Full/Part Qualified Motor Mechanic

Belturbet Car Sales, Cavan, a Family run business with over 50 years of experience are a certified Bodyshop, Car Service & Repair Centre and are currently looking for a full / Part qualified mechanic to join our team.

The successful candidate will assist in the servicing and repairing of vehicles to very high standards.

• Full-time position
• Immediate Start

Applicants will ideally:

• Be full / Part qualified as a motor mechanic with 3-4 years experience.
• Have experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics.
• Be motivated and capable of producing quality work in a busy environment.
• Work well under pressure, while maintaining efficiency and productivity.
• Hold a full driver licence.
• Have a flexible approach to work and be willing to work overtime if required.
• Have good communication skills and work well as part of a team whilst also using own initiative.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• To service & repair vehicles, including computer diagnostics.
• Perform work as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with company standards.
• Maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhering to all company policies and safety standards.
• Examining the vehicle and performing vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Communicating with Manager throughout job to obtain needed parts.
• Training/upskilling as required
