As bookkeeper you will undertake a range of accounting and finance activities to support practice clients. This is a busy role so someone who is; organised, detail oriented with the ability to work on your own initiative is essential.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of payroll functions including the preparation and processing of weekly & monthly payroll for a number of clients including submission of returns on ROS.
- Relevant Contract Tax submissions.
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns.
- Preparation and filing of RTD’s.
- Provide assistance and support to practice Accountants.
- Develop good working relationships with Clients.
Candidate Requirements·
- The applicant will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy work environment in a similar role.
- Excellent analytical and numeracy skills
- Strong IT skills with excellent working knowledge of Excel essential.
- Strong communication skills, understands the need to respect confidentiality and knows to keep their manager informed on an ongoing basis.
- Has the ability to document important and relevant communications on an ongoing basis.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm.
For the successful applicant this will be a full-time permanent office-based position and the necessary training will be provided.
