Callaghan Forklifts Ltd are the leading provider of forklift sales and services in the North West. We are the Toyota material handling dealer for this region. We are presently seeking applicants for the position of Fully qualified Mechanic to service and maintain our own fleet of Material Handling equipment and that of our customers.

If you have worked as a technician or mechanic and have experience working on Material Handling Equipment then this is the perfect opportunity for you to join a growing company. We are offering an excellent salary plus benefits and continuous professional training.


  • Provide technical support, repair, refurbish, service and maintain Material Handling Equipment.
  • Accurately Diagnose and solve various mechanical issues.
  • Attend emergency calls and scheduled service maintenance.
  • Provide technical guidance to our customers.
  • Produce accurate and itemized work sheet details, through our computerised system.
  • Keep updated and learn about new equipment, complete manufacturers training and inhouse training.
  • Report to the Service manager.

Your Experience

  • Previous experience working on Material Handling Equipment such as Toyota, Linde, Jungheinrich (or other brands) would be an advantage
  • Have very good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Have good computer skills
  • Safe Pass a must
  • Full clean driving license
